So it has been a while since my last update but I got my nails done and wanted to share! I've never done white before but i decided to give it a go. Take a look =)

The sun was really bright so you can't see through them so much normally.

Woo hoo! I did it! I survived to my 24th birthday! Lol. And Happy (belated) Earth Day everyone!

I had an amazing week leading up to my birthday. Still can't believe I'm 24!
Here's some photos of my week long celebration!

Tuesday was our friend Matt's birthday so we went to Dave and Busters.
And I love photo booth opportunities!! They are so fun. Here's ours from D&B.

Wednesday we went to Foxwoods in CT. And actually won some money!

Friday I decided I needed a new look. 

I got my nails done and dyed my hair an ombre of purple! (Which I am in LOVE with!!)

Saturday I celebrated my birthday a little early with some friends, and family out in town.

Sunday we went to my favorite sushi restaurant and ate at the Hibachi grill.

And Monday was my birthday!! I celebrated with my boyfriend, and family =)

- the beautiful flowers my mom surprised me with!

- the cupcakes that my friend from work made! (She know how much I love owls!)

-went out to dinner at a cute local restaurant

-opened a bunch of awesome gifts like this Ipad Mini from my boyfriend!!!

I had an awesome celebration of my birthday.

Spring Makeup Shopping Spree

Yesterday I went shopping at my local mall for new makeup.  I have a wedding coming up quick for my friends and need a fresh new look.  As a V.I.B. member of Sephora, I receive 15% off my purchase today so what better time to go than now!  Sephora also has 15% off for regular Sephora members also but it was only V.I.B. members yesterday. Since my birthday is April 22, I also received a free birthday gift! I can't wait to use all my new products.  Sephora is definitely my favorite beauty store, and a very dangerous place for me!  These are the products I bought...

I went into Sephora to get more informed on BB Cream.  I had a makeup artist help me choose a BB Cream and the right color for my skin tone. I decided to go with the Tarte BB Cream in Fair.  They are really great with helping you choose the right makeup for your skin tone.  The girl sat me down at the makeup studio seat and showed me how to apply it as well. 

 I love Tarte, also because it is all natural makeup.

Next, I chose this Tarte bronzer because the one I had was a drug store brand and didn't do a good job. This is the Park Ave Princess Bronzer in Matte Waterproof.  They only have two bronzers which are the same color; one waterproof and the other is not.

Since I have been loving lavender shades, I saw this Nars Highlighting Blush Powder and had to have it! I can't wait to try this blush out. Nars Highlighting Blush Powder in New Order.

 I have been telling myself to get this Nars lipgloss for the longest time.  

It is Nars Lipgloss in Turkish Delight.

I also got two makeup brushes.  I got Sephora's Pro Collection brushes.  

#56 which is a Flawless Airbrush which is a foundation brush (in picture, top brush). 

 I will be using it to apply my BB Cream as well.

  And also #16, (in picture, bottom brush) 

which is a Domed Crease brush which is for applying eyeshadow.

 I also bought a brush cleaner which I ran out of.

Those are all of the things I PURCHASED. However, there's more =)

Like I said I received a free gift for my birthday...

And also a free tote! With 7 free samples inside!

 

And last but not least, I had over 100 points so I received this 

free sample of Benefit's POREfessional, which I have also been dying to try!

All in all, I had a very successful shopping trip at Sephora!

but of course, I had to stop at MAC for one lipstick...

I wanted to be comfortable so I just paired light pink skinny jeans,

 with a denim shirt and moccasins.

Keeping It Light

Yesterday was beautiful out and I finally didn't have to wear a jacket!  I spent the day with my mom doing some errands so I wanted to wear something cute and light. 

 I've been loving sleeveless button downs lately!

I paired some spring colors together with a nude bag to keep everything with spring colors.
