DIY Glitter Mason Jars

I can't explain how easy this is to make. I usually am not a DIY kinda girl but I really needed somewhere to keep my makeup brushes, toiletries, etc.  These are cute, inexpensive, and easy!!

What you need:

- mason jar (any size for whatever you will be using it for)
I used a pint & 1/2 mason jar and a smaller one

- Spray Adhesive Glue
(When using this be careful because it dries fast and sticks to nails)
If you do get it on your nails while wearing polish like me, use olive oil and it will come right off!

- Glitter! (I'm using extra fine glitter)

- Ribbon/lace (optional to make a bow)

What to do:

1- Start by laying out a few paper towels to catch the excess glitter.

2- Spray the Adhesive Glue into the jar in an even layer. You don't need a lot of glue and if you see a puddle on the bottom stop spraying immediately because that means you used too much.  If you do this, don't pour it out because it will leave a streak of thicker glue and the glitter will clump here.  Let it catch the glitter at the bottom of the mason jar.  No one will see it there!

3- Pour some glitter into the jar and close the lid tightly. Don't worry about putting too much because afterwards you can pour out the excess glitter.

4- Shake! Until the glitter is covering the whole jar.

5- Open and pour the extra glitter back into the container.

6- Let it dry for 24-48 hours and voila!

You can add a bow with ribbon or lace to make it more cute!
